The itinery : Piona � Gera Lario � Gravedona.
The excursion time : a full-day
 Description
: We will visit the Abbey of Piona, an ancient Benedictine monastery of the XI century, built on a promontory reflected in the Lake of Como.(visit of the Romanesque church and of the beautiful cloister with medieval
sculptures)
 Later, we will visit the parish church of S.Vincenzo in Gera
Lario.
A little moment of relax with a typical lunch�and in the afternoon, we will see Gravedona, the most characteristic village of the Alto-Lario with its romanic masterpiece : �S.Maria del Tiglio .�

Discovering the Lario myth.
The itinery: Tremezzo � Bellagio � Varenna.
The excursion time: a full-day
 Description:
we will visit the neo-classical Villa Carlotta, one of the most beautiful Villas of the
lake, with its botanic garden where in springtime  you can see the blossoming of 150 different azaleas and
rhododendrons. Later, we will visit Bellagio, known as the Pearl of the Lake thanks to its position between the two arms of the
Lake.
 Free lunch or relax in a typical restaurant.
During the afternoon, we will visit the medieval village of Varenna on the easthern side of the
lake.

From lake Como to Lugano
The itinery: Tremezzo- Lugano.
The excursion time: a full-day.
 Description: we will leave from Tremezzo by a motor-boat to admire the beauties of the lake and stop at Villa Carlotta or at Villa Balbianello (FAI).
During the afternoon, we will reach Lugano, one of the most famous towns of the
Canton-Ticino.
 We will visit the Nassa Road, the church of �S.Maria degli Angioli� and if you wish a pleasant stop at the chocolate museum in
Caslano.
Everything in a typical Swiss atmosphere.

 An interesting visit to the important historical buildings of Como: the �Broletto�, the civic tower, the beautiful 15 th century Broletto cathedral , �S.Fedele square� and finally the medieval walls.It�s possible to shop in various silk
stores.

A visit to the romanic church of �S.Abbondio�, the civic picture-gallery where there are some important medieval findings. We will visit the historic centre as far as the cathedral
square.
